another time

I was born on Aquidneck Island in Rhode Island and grew up on a one-hundred acre farm. The solitude, serenity, sadness, and barrenness of those fields and forests has always inspired my image-making.

I was raised in a large family by two parents of World War II, and, secluded as we were, we lived in another time of the War, big bands, Marx Brothers, poetry and literature. Photography and music were my escapes, and my form of expression.

I graduated from The Massachusetts College of Art in 1996, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography.

I still live in Rhode Island with my wife, daughter, son, and dog. I am an avid motorcyclist, musician, and a fencing coach.
